The masters of the sky, the vultures, soar gracefully over the Gorges, attracting us like magnets.
We set off to meet them!
2 hours after leaving the campsite, we set off along the signposted paths of the Causse Méjean, a sight that left us speechless!

Camping Taranis Rose RandoWe’re at the top of the cornices, and our silence speaks volumes! After the effort of the climb, it’s time for contemplation. We feel tiny in the face of the immensity of these landscapes shaped by time. A pure moment of freedom, where only silence reigns, punctuated by the cry of birds of prey. At last, they’re right there! We’re captivated by their sheer size, and want to know more about these extraordinary creatures!
We take our time to breathe, to savor this unique sensation of being alone in the world with nature… and above all, open your eyes wide: here, every panorama is a living postcard!

An interactive and educational exhibition teaches us about the different species of vulture, their role in the ecosystem and their history in the region.
Back at the campsite, we jump into the river to cool off… After taking in the sights and sounds of the river, I can assure you that the swim is more than welcome!
